A retail and services complex is planned for a part of Brookview Addition, a new commercial area along Highway 75 north in Sioux Center.
The Sioux Center City Council approved the sale of a 2.08-acre lot in Brookview Addition to CAC Properties Management, of Bennington, Neb, which plans to build the retail and services complex.
“What this developer has in mind is a good fit for the area. It’s what we zoned this for and it’s a good continuation of commercial growth from the heart of downtown Sioux Center to the north,” said Sioux Center Development Director Dennis Dokter.
Located along Highway 75, the site has high visibility and good access, Dokter said. With the sale of the lot approved, work is anticipated to begin on the site this fall.
“This will be a good start and good anchor for other things coming to this area,” Dokter said. “We have had some other inquiries and interest in the Brookview Addition as well.”

The area labeled "SOLD" in the concept above is the 2.08-acre parcel the City is selling to CAC Properties Management for retail/services commercial development. It is located in the Brookview Addition along Highway 75 north. A segment of 11th St. N. will be added in this addition.
