2017 Projects Funded

The Sioux Center Community Foundation was formed in 1997 to provide a way for local citizens and businesses to make tax-deductible donations to large community fund-raising projects. Since that time, more than 7 million dollars have passed through the foundation to help fund community projects such as the All Seasons Center, the Sioux Center Public Library, the Ridge Golf Course and Clubhouse, the Sioux Center Trails System, the Veteran's Memorial, Sunrise Trails Park, and the Sioux County Regional Airport.

Another long-term goal of the Community Foundation is to sponsor a permanent endowment fund to benefit non-profit organizations and agencies working or located in Sioux Center, distributing earnings from the endowment to local projects through a competitive grant process.

"It is our hope that the Generations Community Endowment Fund will grow," said Kevin Wolterstorff, president of the Sioux Center Community Foundation Board, "through individual gifts, bequests, and fund-raising events - to provide a perpetual financial resource for Sioux Center's non-profit community."
