The Sioux Center Heritage Board hosts a Harvest Festival on a Friday and Saturday, usually the second weekend in September, at Heritage Village.
For 2022, it is Friday, Sept. 16 and Saturday, Sept. 17. On Friday, it is first open to school tours until 2:30 p.m., then open for the public from 3-5 p.m. On Saturday, it is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Harvest Festival brings local history to life with a variety of activities and demonstrations which may include:

- Blacksmith Shop Forge
- Threshing
- Corn Shelling
- Cast Iron Cooking
- Working Sawmill
- Rope Making
- Louie's Leather/Harness Shop
- Antique Machinery
- Cream Separating
- Rug Weaving
- Farm House
- Roelof's General Store
- Sheep Shearing
- Pottery Making

In 2022, no concessions will be available on the site for the public.
