Social Security
The Social Security toll-free number is 800-277-1213. You can speak to a representative from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on business days. At other times, an automated service is available. A recorded message will tell you how to leave your name and address, so they can complete your request.
Community Rooms
The senior center room is now available for use at the All Seasons Center. This room can be used by community seniors for social gatherings, games and other activities or just to get together for coffee.
Two party rooms at The New Homestead are available for rental for group gatherings of 100 people or less. A stove and refrigerator are available and a fee is charged per room. Call 712-722-2237 for more information.
Senior Meals
Meals are served each Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the New Homestead Community Room, 510 North Meadow Drive in Sioux Center for all seniors 60 and older. Kelly’s Catering, of Hospers, provides this service at a cost of $6 per meal. There are no income guidelines or tickets needed to attend. Menus are posted on Channel 12 and in the local newspapers. Elderbridge Agency on Aging
Elderbridge Agency on Aging is designated as an Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) to provide information and referrals to older adults, adults with disabilities, veterans and their caregivers, and coordinate a wide range of long-term living and community support services, such as case management, congregate and home-delivered meals, employment services, family caregiver services, options counseling, respite care and transportation services. 1-800-243-0678

- Are home health services and Life Line services provided at the New Homestead?

Home health services and Life Line are both available if you live at the New Homestead. These services are provided by outside entities (i.e. CHEARS Home Health through the Sioux Center Health (712) 722-8108; Community Health Partners in Orange City; etc.)
