CENSUS 2010

Answering the Census is Important, Easy, and Safe!

Sioux Center needs you! If every person in Sioux Center is counted, it guarantees fair distribution of federal funds for our school, roads, health care and other public services. It also determines our political representation.

Can we Count On You?

Sioux Center needs you to return your completed census questionnaire.  Sioux Center residents who spend part of the year living in other parts of the country are encouraged to wait and fill out their census form when they return to Iowa. That means the U.S. Census Bureau will count them as Iowans, and the state will get resources that may benefit them during the time they spend in Sioux Center.

Confidentiality

By law, the Census Bureau cannot share your answers with others, including the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the Internal Revenue Service, courts, police, and the military. Individual census data is confidential and no one locally will see individual answers on the questionnaire.

Didn't Receive a Questionnaire or Need Help Completing It?

Extra Questionnaires in several different languages will be available at Hy-Vee Food Store and Casey's General Store in Sioux Center.

Visit Mid-Sioux Opportunity (313 North Main Ave) or MCT Center (14 3rd Street NW) in Sioux Center for assistance in completing your questionnaire.
