Dinner Date Program
The Dinner Date program is funded in part by the Elderbridge Agency on Aging and is administered by community volunteers. Dinners are served weekly on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 pm in the New Homestead's senior center. The meals satisfy 1/3 of the daily Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) as well as all health and safety regulations.
Contributions are voluntary within the recommended range of $3.50-$5.50. Please pay what you feel is fair and affordable; however, please also remember that your contributions and attendance are needed to ensure the continuation of this program.
All meal coupons need to be purchased at American State Bank during regular business hours prior to attending the meal. Only a blue coupon will permit you to receive a meal. No late reservations, walk-ins or cash payments at the door will be accepted. Following dinner, seniors are invited to stay and play cards or games. American State Bank is located at:
525 N. Main Ave.
Sioux Center, IA 51250
